About the Role :

As a Senior Project Manager , you'll play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of the Alberta Courts. You'll work on high-impact projects like Justice Digital, Video Conference Expansion, and CTS Transformation.

Responsibilities :

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Project Management : Overseeing all aspects of project lifecycle, from planning to execution and closure.
  • Stakeholder Management : Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • Risk Management : Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Technical Expertise : Understanding technology trends and their application in legal and judicial settings.
  • Team Leadership : Guiding and motivating project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

What You'll Do :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Conduct regular project status reviews and report to stakeholders.
  • Implement change management strategies to minimize disruption.
  • Ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices.

    • What You'll Need :

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in a complex IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with legal or judicial technology projects (preferred).
