As an integral member of the Facilities department, working under the Director of Facility Operations & Planning, the Project Coordinator will serve as the hospital’s representative, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of staff, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. The role involves guiding the planning, design, implementation, contract administration, and closeout of multiple projects across the hospital and community locations.

The incumbent will work closely with hospital users to plan and design physical spaces supporting process redesign and hospital policies, ensuring adherence to best practices, codes, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical input and support.
• Act as the primary liaison during user group meetings, ensuring project objectives are met.
• Coordinate project activities within hospital teams.
• Review architectural assemblies, finishes, and M, E, S integrations.
• Manage hospital input on RFIs and addenda.
• Track scope changes and communicate updates.
• Facilitate end-user relocations.
• Coordinate and manage multiple complex projects.
• Evaluate design / construction proposals during RFP processes.
• Develop and implement quality management and ROI strategies.
• Oversee projects under DBFM agreements.
• Coordinate facility renewal projects and support the 5-year renewal plan.
• Prepare financial and progress reports for senior management.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures.
• Lead and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Participate in performance management and ongoing education.
