Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Systems Support and Continuous Improvement, the incumbent will apply their expertise at the operational level to improve, develop and implement best practices within the teams while optimizing system use.
- Coordinate and execute the continuous improvement plan, ensuring that deadlines are met;
- Evaluate, analyze, and document procedures to improve existing processes or design new ones as needed for Technical Records & Engineering departments .
- Support and liaise with other departments for interrelated procedures and ensure the standardization of processes;
- Actively collaborate on system data correction;
- Evaluate, document, and initiate all system configuration modifications when necessary;
- During system updates or new versions, carry out and document comprehensive user tests on all impacted systems;
- Create a culture of daily continuous improvement within the teams;
- Participate in the elaboration of user training material;
- Ensure recurring training in collaboration with the Training Department;
- Monitor KPIs and data quality;
- Perform various analyses in support of operations;
- Act as AMOS superuser for the Technical Records & Engineering departments ;
- Assist the Director, Systems Support and Continuous Improvement, in the performance of their duties and carry out any other assigned projects and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
College diploma or equivalent;Five to seven years of experience in technical operations of an airline, within the Technical Records & Engineering departments if possibleExperience or certification in continuous improvement ;Excellent knowledge of AMOS software and modules or equivalent software;Knowledge of Flydocs or equivalentVery good knowledge of MS Office : Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, Visio, and Excel (advanced level);Written and spoken proficiency in both French and English;Initiative, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills;Strong oral and written communication skills; pedagogy;Ability to work well as part of a team;Detail-oriented and ability to continuously identify and suggest system and process improvements;Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize.Additional Information
