They work in concert with IT and business leadership to ensure that the foundation underlying all data related activities at Price are secure reliable and positioned to meet the needs of the business in the immediate term as well as positioned to enable future growth. They provide the technical leadership that will empower the business to leverage data as a strategic responsibilities include : Designing and implementing the data infrastructure required to serve AI Analytics Reporting increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven with Data Engineers to ensure architectural designs are implementable and aligned with platform and implementing overall data management practices including recovery security backup and capability and diagram current-state data systems integrations pipelines and data flows within the Enterprise Architecture and evaluating technologies to help improve data management data management strategies for the short-term and long-term data infrastructure in concert with software architects IT operations business units and external technical and non-technical resources on data practices and instructing them on the application of new initiatives related to data governance metadata management lineage and data clear accurate documentation of architecture decisions diagrams and to foster a data-driven culture within the ideal candidate for this position will have : 5 years experience working as a data architect or in a related technical profession such as a data engineer or software architectDegree or Diploma in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Systems or related in Microsoft Azure based technologies such as Azure Data Factory Azure Data Bricks Azure Data Lake Azure Purview Azure Cosmos DB Azure Synapse Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft building and maintaining relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle in a modern business intelligence tool such as Power to define and communicate long-term data strategies in both technical and non-technical languageAbility to take ownership of tasks and see them through to delivery including analysis estimating implementation testing and data modeling skills including dimensional relational and analytical interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skillsShould this excellent opportunity interest you please submit your resume including salary Industries Limited hires on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity.
