THE ROLE As Day Camp Supervisor, you will guide and deliver inclusive recreation programs and services for individuals and families in the military community. You will expand access for participants with disabilities and support needs ensuring they can meaningfully engage in recreation programming, events and community life.

You will plan and deliver inclusion programming and implement individualized plans for participants with disabilities and support needs. You will coach and supervise employees and provide direct support when implementing behaviour management protocols. You will monitor program quality and gather and report on program feedback.

You will maintain consistent communication with participants’ families and caregivers, providing regular updates on program plans, participant progress, address concerns professionally, and escalate matters to management when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses

High School diploma AND several years of experience related to working with children / youth and individuals with disabilities, or a related field

Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification

Current High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) Certification

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training (an asset)

Behavior Management Systems certification (an asset)

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) / Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) Therapy training (an asset)

In crisis intervention and behaviour management techniques

OTHER INFORMATION This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

PSP : Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.

START DATE June 1 to August 31, 2026
