IT Operations Support Engineer - Unix, Linux, Windows, SQL & Scripting

Job Description

· Minimum 8 years experience working in an operations support role

· Strong knowledge of HTTP, SQL, Databases and general data transfer technologies.

· The applicant should also be comfortable with system administration of Unix Linux and Windows infrastructure Application.

· Scripting of operational ad-ministration tasks in Java, PowerShell and or Python (preferred), Perl, Shell Scripting or other.

· Experience in troubleshooting complex issues related to network, databases, storage, security and operation systems.

· The individual should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure situations for Incident and problem management.

· Be available for weekend and on-call work on a rotation basis.

· Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
