The Role : Project Manager
The Project Manager leads complex, long-term build projects involving carbon steel fabrication and other high-value deliverables. This role ensures successful execution by coordinating across departments, managing timelines and budgets, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison with customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for complex fabrication projects, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Monitor progress, process change orders and resolve issues to keep projects on track.Prepare and present status updates, forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with project objectives and procedures.Conduct progress meetings and maintain accurate documentation for project control and closeout.Identify long-lead items and risk areas, providing proactive solutions for mitigation.Develop and implement strategies to achieve project objectives related to cost, schedule, and quality.What You Bring
Minimum 7 years in manufacturing and 3 years managing complex projects.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, manufacturing, or project management and / or equivalent working experience.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency with manufacturing-related software and workflow management tools.Solid understanding of fabrication methods, metals, machining, and project scheduling strategies.Knowledge of cost control, change order management, and risk mitigation.Ability to visualize end products and manage projects to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and goal-focused mindset.Ability to travel when necessary.Thank you for considering a career with AdvanTec Marine .
