Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns in accordance with firm and professional standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises.
  • Auditing financial statements of business clients as a Senior Auditor and being the lead on mandates (Senior roles ONLY).
  • Providing accounting and tax compliance services to private clients for compilation and review engagements.
  • Preparing personal tax returns and trust returns for clients.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, government agencies and with partners and staff.
  • Providing guidance and training to other staff members.
  • Identifying issues and opportunities.
  • Assisting with special mandates such as valuation estimates, due diligence work, business investigations, accounting for corporate reorganizations, etcetera.
  • Other related duties.

A successful candidate will have :

  • 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting, including audit.
  • CPA designation (or in process).
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership and client relations skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with CaseWare and Tax Prep is an asset.
  • Bilingual.

  • Proven ability to sustain a high level of enthusiasm, and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work.
  • Capacity for working hard to meet demands at key times of pressure. Resilient in the face of challenges or obstacles.
  • Application Information :

    Schedule : Hybrid – in office / client locations 3 days – Thursdays mandatory.
