Truck Driver (Local Flatbed)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (60 hours)

The truck driver is responsible for transporting goods between Techo-Blocs manufacturing sites customers and warehouse locations for consumer and distributor products. The warehouses are located in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Deliveries mainly cover the Greater Montreal Metropolitan area and Eastern Ontario.

Tasks

• Ensure the delivery of concrete blocks to various sites from our installations on the South Shore of Montreal.
• Perform mandatory daily mechanical inspections.
• Secure the blocks on the platform.
• Ensure all documentation is properly completed and that the technological tools provided are used efficiently.
• Maintain safety regulations at all times both during loading and driving.
• Comply with applicable laws (hours of service load securing weight and dimensions).

Qualifications :

• Class 1 drivers license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience or CFTR certification.
• Excellent driving record with a maximum of 5 demerit points.
• Proficiency in using electronic tools (LOG CARDS PUNCH).
• Skills in operating dump truck equipment are a significant asset.
