Your Role
Reporting to Director, Engineering, your role will be to execute the design and installation of NULIFE facility located in the Saskatoon area
Lead design and construction of new large scale facilitiesIntegrate operations and feedstock providers requirements into the designLead third party engineering firms and regulatory application processesRefine and develop specifications and tender documentsSizing, specifying and procure specialized equipmentProduce block flow diagrams, PFD’s, P&ID’s, and other drawings as required for project executionManage construction and commissioning of new facilitySupport engineering and operations team developmentSupport operations team for process and facility improvements to existing facilitiesOur ideal candidate will have the following :
Facilities or Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years experienceExperience with design and installation of piping systemsASME code and TSask experienceAbility to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment of a start up companyProject management skills including scheduling, cost management, and the ability to balance competing interests on the technical and business facetsProven experience in a leadership roleExpertise in oil & gas facilitiesExperience leading technology development and scaling to commercial stageClear understanding of heat and mass transfer, reaction kinetics, and fluid dynamicsExcellent communication skillsAbility to research effectively, and to meet deadlinesLicenced by a Professional Engineering Association is requiredAssets
Project Management certificationExperience in project developmentHydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) experienceOil & Gas or Chemical process operation experienceThe successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and either reside in Saskatoon, SK or be willing to relocate for this position
