Financial Analyst

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their team on a long-term contract basis in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports financial operations in the non-profit sector, ensuring accurate transactions, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is someone who brings financial expertise and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities :

• Process daily cash transactions and maintain proper documentation.
• Review contracts and invoices for accuracy.
• Manage funding approvals and track financial activities.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and reporting.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, including loan obligations.
• Use advanced Excel to create detailed financial reports.
• Maintain records for audits and compliance with grant requirements.
• Collaborate to streamline processes and mentor colleagues.
