GFL Environmental Services is seeking a Class 3A Haz Waste Collection Driver to join our team in Fort St. John. In this role, you will safely operate a box truck to collect liquids and drummed waste materials — including used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, and plastics — from customers throughout Fort St. John and the surrounding areas. We’re looking for a professional, customer-focused individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service and representing GFL’s full range of environmental solutions. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding position that requires the ability to work safely in all weather and driving conditions. The position follows a weekday schedule, with weekends typically off.

Key Accountabilities

• Safely operate all required equipment.
• Follow schedules and service orders in accordance with the Service Coordinator’s instructions.
• Provide exceptional on‑site service to customers and continuously promote GFL’s service offerings.
• Complete service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations.
• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components and other assigned equipment.
• Keep accurate drivers’ logs as required to document mileage, hours and material hauled.
• Identify and classify all types of hazardous waste.
• Participate in GFL’s safety programs including safety meetings, last‑minute risk assessments, and job hazard assessments.
• Handle drum dollies and pallet jacks for transportation and loading materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
