As we continue to scale our operations and deploy quantum systems across North America and internationally, we are strengthening the IT backbone that supports our teams. We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented IT specialist to enhance and maintain our hybrid IT environment.

Role Overview

The IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist will take ownership of our Montreal-based hybrid on-premise and cloud IT environment. This role involves hands-on systems administration, network and security management, infrastructure documentation, and end-user support. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the systems that power our research, engineering workflows, and day-to-day operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-technology environment, takes pride in thorough documentation and well-engineered systems, and proactively solves problems before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Administer and optimize our Microsoft Azure environment, including identity, compute, networking, and storage services.
• Manage integrations between on-premise infrastructure and Azure cloud resources.
• Conduct monitoring, patching, and system hardening to support operational reliability and security.
• Maintain backup / disaster recovery systems and contribute to business continuity planning.
