Warehouse Worker-Driver

Shift : Day Shift, full time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker / Driver is organized, team oriented and safety focused. While maintaining the integrity of the product, the Warehouse Worker-Driver is responsible for loading and unloading of Ply Gem & Mitten product by hand or with the use of material handling equipment in the warehouse or at customer locations as required. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. #CHP

• Unload and load product into warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
• Identify, count, sort, pick, package, unpackage, stock and move product in warehouse
• Load product for customer deliveries in a safe, efficient and timely manner
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required logs
• Complete and maintain required customer delivery paperwork
• Operate delivery vehicle in a safe manner and comply with company and motor vehicle traffic requirements; communicate vehicle problems to Supervisor
• Comply with all material handing company policies and procedures
• Contribute to a safe, orderly, and efficiently operating warehouse
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required
• Perform inventory cycle counts as required
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customer regarding product deliveries
• Perform general housekeeping duties including maintaining a clean work area
• Other duties as assigned
