Intermediate Drafting Technician

Select is searching for an Intermediate Drafting Technician for our client in the construction industry. In this role, you’ll combine your technical expertise in Revit with exceptional client-facing professionalism. You’ll be instrumental in producing high-quality designs and fostering strong client relationships, all while enjoying a workplace that supports your growth.

Compensation & Hours :

The rate of pay will be $60 - $65K / yr.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Position Summary :

Creating proposal and final construction drawings that work within a set budget

Utilizing all available resources to determine the best designs for client expectations and safety requirements

Building strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors; focusing on an ability to understand requests and then effectively communication steps to get there

Providing accurate cost calculations and take-off quotes

Scheduling and delegating tasks according to production start dates

Operating 3D programs and evaluating each phase to ensure success

Required Qualifications :

Post-secondary certification as a Drafting Technologist

2+ years of previous experience in a drafting role

Competent using AutoCAD and Revit

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Must be team oriented – focused on engaging with new ideas and feedback from others
