Mandatory : Canadian Work Experience
We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Machine Operator for a full-time position in Cobourg, ON. As a Machine Operator, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes. Machine Operator Duties :
- Operate and monitor machinery during the production process to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Set up machines according to specifications and adjust as needed
- Read and interpret work orders and production schedules
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Machine Operator Requirements :
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Basic computer skills for tracking production data
- Daily access to reliable transportation
