Our client, a world leader in the supply of products for the manufacturing of corrugated plastic pipe require a Maintenance Technician.
Their products are used in fluid and process applications in end markets such as : industrial, medical, automotive and agriculture.
Day Shift : 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Troubleshooting, testing, repairing preventative maintenance and servicing CNC equipment related to all in house manufacturing.
- Managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance of the building and its property.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions for all CNC and non CNC manufacturing equipment.
- Producing detailed service reports.
- Documenting processes.
- Operating vehicles and machinery in a safe manner including lift trucks and cranes.
- Cooperating with technical teams and sharing information across the organization.
- Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications as well as specifications for new equipment.
- Building positive relationships with team members.
Requirements :
- Proven working experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting / repair of CNC machines highly desired
- 433A Millwright license is an asset but not required
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and minor electrical problems.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations of engineering and installation drawings for buildings.
- MS Office skills especially Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
- Time management and organization skills
- Must have own tools.
- Must have the ability to work off normal hours during equipment breakdown situations.
- Must be fluent in English Reading and writing
