VP / Director HR – Staffing (Healthcare)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic VP / Director of HR – Staffing to lead and enhance our healthcare recruitment operations in Alberta. This is a key leadership role, combining strategic oversight, business development, and operational excellence to ensure delivery of high-quality workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee full-cycle recruitment for healthcare roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing highly qualified candidates.
• Develop and implement strategic HR and staffing initiatives aligned with organizational goals and client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, understanding their workforce requirements and delivering customized staffing solutions.
• Drive business development efforts by identifying new healthcare clients and expanding existing accounts.
• Mentor and manage recruitment teams, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and high-quality candidate experience.
• Monitor industry trends, labor market dynamics, and competitor activity to refine staffing strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Ensure adherence to employment standards, regulatory requirements, and internal HR policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize recruitment processes and improve client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in healthcare staffing or recruitment, with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management in healthcare or staffing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare roles, regulations, and labor market trends in Alberta.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and manage a high-performing recruitment team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
