Halifax Water is hiring an Electrical Safety Program Manager as we continue to expand and advance our Environment Health & Safety Team.

What the Environment Health & Safety Team does :

• Supports the Corporation ensuring Halifax water complies with regulations set forth by Nova Scotia Environment Environment and Climate Change Canada the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Nova Scotia Department of Labour.
• Ensures our customers comply with our Rules & Regulations.
• Protects the health and well-being of employees contractors and the public by ensuring safe working conditions and practices.

This type of training allows Halifax Water to respond to all emergencies from simple water main breaks to keeping customer water flowing (water wastewater and stormwater) through Hurricanes and other major natural events.
