About the Role :

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Value Engineering Manager to join our global Product Development & Engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving value optimization across our product portfolio by applying Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in value engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and cost / value optimization in a regulated, innovation-driven environment.

We are looking for a person to :

• Lead and facilitate VAVE initiatives across product development and engineering activities to enhance product value, reduce cost, and improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PD&E, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, procurement, marketing and external stakeholders to identify and implement value improvement opportunities.
• Apply structured methodologies such as Function Analysis, FAST diagrams, and creative problem-solving techniques.
• Develop and manage VAVE strategy, projects pipeline and performance metrics aligned with business objectives, in collaboration with upper management.
• Provide training, coaching and support to internal teams on VAVE principles and tools. Champion a culture of value thinking across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the VAVE process.
