Resident Engagement Assistant – Sienna Senior Living

Join Sienna Senior Living to support our senior residents in creating engaging activities and fostering meaningful social connections. This role is essential to enhancing the quality of life for residents by facilitating activities, encouraging interaction, and ensuring all programs run smoothly.

Typical Day & Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and revision of departmental procedures and programs under the guidance of the Team Leader.
• Set up the activity area as necessary and assist in transporting residents to and from programs, if required.
• Assisting in monitoring the residents' interests, needs and progress.
• Maintain program and resident records according to departmental policies, reporting participation and feedback to the Team Leader.
• Promote social interaction among residents by assuming leadership of assigned activities or special events, assisting new residents with orientation to the building, the recreation program and encouraging conversation and interaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Have Qualifications

Shifts : Casual.
