Hours

Hours Of Work : Equivalent to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Please note : the successful candidate will be required to work 3 : 30 p.m. - 12 : 00 a.m.

Duties

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
• Valid Fireman\'s Certificate is an asset - will be required to obtain within the first year of employment
• Valid Driver\'s License
• Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
• Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred
• General mechanical / plumbing knowledge and aptitude
• Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
• Knowledge of computers and applicable software
• Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division

Salary & Benefits

Salary & Benefits : Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website. The starting wage for this position is currently $22.70 / hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
