Position : Digital Products Installation Specialist

Location : Laval, Canada (Hybrid)

Your Opportunity :

The digital products installation specialist, responsible for the supervision of production line systems, will be part of a software installation team within the digital products service. He or she will participate in the execution of installation and integration projects for various line supervision software.

Please Note : They will be travelling to the US about two weeks out of every month to do the installation on site for their US clients

Your Mission :

  • Commission, install, and validate line supervision systems at client sites.
  • Install software.
  • Program various types of automation systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R).
  • Configure servers such as Windows, SQL, and OPC.
  • Follow and adhere to quality procedures according to company standards.
  • Ensure the achievement of objectives, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to the company's clients.

Your Profile :

  • Hold a diploma in a technical field : Industrial Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, B&R, Modicon).
  • Knowledge of various IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project).
  • Understanding of industrial communication systems and protocols such as DeviceNet, Ethernet, ModbusTCP, MB+ and networking / troubleshooting configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical concepts.
  • Familiarity with equipment used in the beverage and packaging industry is an asset.
  • Bilingual to travel to the US every month to meet with client.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and hold a valid passport.
