The Division of Dermatology within the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University invites applications for the position of an Academic Dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery. The Division of Dermatology provides specialist clinical care to a large catchment area at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Clinical responsibilities will include Mohs microsurgery clinics, dermatology outpatient clinics, and dermatology in-patient consultation service. Applicants must demonstrate expertise and experience in Mohs micrographic surgery.

The successful candidates will have major clinical responsibilities and will be expected to demonstrate exemplary clinical service. The successful candidates must also demonstrate strong potential for teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as exhibit a strong potential for innovative scholarly contributions (in research, quality assurance, and / or education). The successful candidates must also demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. The incumbents will be expected to make contributions through service to the Department, the Faculty, the University, and / or the broader community.

Qualified applicants will hold an MD degree (or equivalent). Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Dermatology with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Preference will be given to those who either hold or are eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Dermatology.
