SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst I provides standard transactional support for a process within an accounting cycle, can communicate with concerned parties pertaining to transactions and provides support / input for analysis.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting
- Provides standard transactional support for a process within an Accounting cycle or client account / product line
- Ability to complete and resolve assigned basic account reconciliations independently.
- Identifies issues or discrepancies in basic transactional accounting.

College / University graduation or professional certification (., CPA, CMA, CGA or equivalent courses)Minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience.Ability to prepare month end journal entries to support proper transaction reportingBasic understanding of the interactions between sub ledger and general ledgerUnderstanding of audit requirementsAbility to identify issues or discrepancies in basic transactional accountingAbility to communicate processes and procedures within the team and to internal customersAbility to prepare basic memos and provide basic variance explanations.Entry level knowledge of current accounting systems and MS Office suite of softwareLicenses and / or Professional Accreditation
Registered in an Accounting designation program (CGA, CMA)This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $52,864 - $66,080 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, professional designations and performance related to this role.
