We are currently seeking a Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Dartmouth, NS location. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, and manage workflow in the service shop.

Key Responsibilities
Schedule and assign work orders based on priority and resource availability.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
Oversee inspections, maintenance, and repairs of lifting and rigging equipment.
Support and coach technicians, providing training where necessary.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of parts and tools.
Liaise with the Branch Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with customer inquiries and provide technical support when needed.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and certifications.
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in an industrial or mechanical shop setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with cranes, rigging, or lifting equipment is an asset.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and service manuals.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Valid driver’s license required; certifications in rigging or crane inspection are an asset.
