Position

Occupational Therapist — St. Thomas (Elgin County). This is a Full Time/Part Time/Casual position. We are looking for an occupational therapist that can bring an integrated approach to therapy services in clients\' homes. This is a part-time/casual role in a unionized environment in St. Thomas with a rotational on-call and weekend schedule. What You Will Be Doing

• Change your clients’ lives in the comfort of their homes. Assess and build an accurate therapy care plan based on the client\'s real environment. This includes developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety.
• Demonstrate creativity and adaptability. Exert critical thinking to provide complex preventive or corrective actions for a variety of clients with diverse needs, and solve problems that affect what is important to them.
• Partner with clients\' family members, caregivers, and other health care professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans.
• Support a hybrid model of care, including face-to-face and virtual, to build a schedule that works for you and your clients.
• Benefit from an independent and flexible OT role with dedicated support, mentorship, and training from a stable, multidisciplinary team.

Skills Needed For Success

• Graduate of a recognized post-secondary program in Occupational Therapy
• Current active registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Valid driver\'s license and access to a reliable vehicle
