Our client is looking for an Audit Manager to join their growing CPA practice

Supervises a team of staff to ensure compliance with prescribed qualitative and quantitative standards

Develops the capabilities of less experienced staff through coaching, knowledge transfer, and internal training

Tax

Maintains quality control standards throughout the assignment or project

Responsible for special assignments

Applies specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business Interpersonal

Focuses resources and provides team leadership

Responsible for the financial management of assignments / projects

Responds effectively to client requests and suggestions relating to an assignment Development

Demonstrates an ability to keep current on new developments in the profession

Promotes the firm's image as business consultants and communicates our brand

Develops effective working level relationships in assignments with client contact

About You

Completion of a University Accounting degree

Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

Thorough understanding and experience working with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Strong tax knowledge is required

Experience leading and coaching a team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients

Possess strong file management skills and organization, able to manage multiple engagements simultaneously

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Experience working with accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, CaseWare, Jazz-it, Tax Prep and Simply Accounting Great ideas.

Salary

$120,000 / Salary
