Our client is looking for a System Integration & Configuration Specialist to join the production operations team, supporting the design, integration, and deployment of complex enterprise solutions. The role involves capturing system customizations, preparing detailed configuration documentation, and ensuring seamless, standards-compliant system functionality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Production-Operations teams throughout the design and deployment of proprietary enterprise solutions.
- Prepare detailed rack diagrams and configuration documents from technical system quotes.
- Review customer quotes generated by Outside Sales and Inside Technical Sales teams.
- Anticipate client needs and provide timely solutions to maintain positive relationships.
- Maintain high product knowledge and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Review new customer purchase orders before entry into the ERP system.
- Assist in preparing detailed configuration documents for new deployments and system upgrades.
Required Qualifications :
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, IT Infrastructure, or related field.2+ years of server and desktop PC technical support experience in LAN / WAN environments.Experience with technical documentation procedures and data center racking / cable management.Hands-on experience with Dell and Dell EMC hardware (Optiplex, PowerEdge, ME4, Unity, Isilon storage).Experience supporting large data centers.Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, and distributed environment permissions.Additional Requirements :
