Mobilization
- Agree business objectives with senior stakeholders (, GSREP Program)
- Defining specific project goals, scope, budget requirements (inc. headcount and other spend)
- Conduct project planning workshops for each to define and refine delivery scope
- Secure approvals (Architecture, IT Risk, Financial, etc.) as part of CM processes, , Project Approval Review (PAR)
Project Planning
Collaborate with stakeholders and the delivery team to break down the items of work and develop an executable Project Plan - with L / L milestones described on an outcome basis in plain languageDeveloping a Resource Plan – , the required skills and team compositionDocumenting and maintaining Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies in a formal RAID logIdentifying the Critical Path, , what is the sequence of sequential activities that has the greatest bearing on timelines and hence must remain on-trackProject Delivery
Work closely with engineering, vendors, etc. to coordinate and drive project execution and ensure deliverables are delivered on-timeIdentify potential blockers / risks, capture in RAID, and eliminate (and / or escalating as needed)Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure automation for test capabilitiesDefining appropriate Performance Metrics; monitor to provide visibility on delivery against agreed outcomesGovernance & Communications
Producing Project Status Reports and communicating to stakeholders in a formal governance forum, on a recurring basis ( monthly)Status reporting to include : Qualitative updates in progress in past month, and objectives for next month
Delivery tracking against L / L milestones with RAG status
