Role Description

PFX Group is looking for a talented individual to join its Research and Development team located in Nisku, AB. This role will primarily support R&D for the Household Business Unit and also support the Packaging Team.

In this technical role, you will provide hands‑on technical support for formulation work, laboratory testing, method development, packaging tests, production support, product performance evaluation and product stewardship. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of many innovation projects.

The position requires strong laboratory skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Experience in a research and development background is preferred. Job assignments vary; thus flexibility is essential.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or relevant sciences.
• 2 years of work experience in a chemical or product performance laboratory.
• Background in formulation, preferably within consumer / household products.
• Experience in laboratory safety, general lab tests, mechanical / household / lab bench equipment, and scientific data record‑keeping.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
• Result‑oriented team player who collaborates well with others, is self‑motivated, and has a strong desire to learn new competencies.
• Strong organizational, management and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional conduct that positively impacts the morale and attitude of other team members.
• Ability / desire to grow technically through continued education and learning.
