The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager in SAP to lead our financial services initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP solutions, particularly in the financial services sector, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects that drive business transformation and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP projects within the financial services domain, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and solutions tailored to the financial services industry, often serving as the Solution Architect on the project.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project delivery, with a focus on financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in leading large‑scale SAP implementations and transformations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• SAP certification(s) is a plus.
• At minimum 6+ years of experience working with SAP Finance modules and participation in full life‑cycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required.
• Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, and statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in Financial Services.
• Experience with integration with 3rd party systems.

Salary Range

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $120,500 to $216,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
