Nanny Wanted - Seeking Experienced Nanny/"Mother's Helper" In Point Grey, Vancouver. Start Date September 2025

We are a young family of four (plus two small dogs) living in beautiful Point Grey, Vancouver. We have two daughters, Heidi who is 18 months and Elina who is a newborn. We are looking for help 1-2 times a week, days are flexible. Compensation : $25 and above, depending on experience. We would love someone to join our family in September 2025.

About us :

I am a stay at home mom and love being home with my girls. Prior to motherhood, I worked as a speech-language pathologist. My husband (Tim) is a lawyer and runs a law firm, which keeps him very busy.

Heidi is a sweet and happy girl. She may be shy at first but it doesn't take her long to warm up to people. She loves to play, explore her surroundings, and is very social. She's very physical and likes to run, climb, and explore. She also likes music and to read books. We love to explore Pacific Spirit Park (just one block away from us!), the beach (just 15 blocks away) and playgrounds.

Elina is fresh to the world and is very much in the season of "mom" and newborn snuggles.

Buttons and Chewie are our two dogs. They love attention and people, but can be reactive and anxious, especially when out for walks. They are big dogs in small bodies.

We are looking for support with the girls and also around the house. This includes but is not limited to :

• being with Heidi, maintaining her routine and engaging in meaningful play with her.
• supporting mom with the newborn, watching her while mom showers or attends to other matters in the home.
• light household chores : laundry, cleaning kitchen, tidying toys, stocking baby items, meal prep.
• pet care as needed.
• outings with mom : we have not solidified our fall schedule, but we often attend classes such as music and gymnastics.

The ideal candidate will :

• have ample experience with infants and toddlers.
• CPR certification, criminal record check, references.
• be patient, calm, and trustworthy.
• be able to work alongside mom as a team member.
• respects our family dynamics and reenforces our structure / routine for the girls.
• be reliable and consistent, can take direction well.
• can understand the flow of the household and take initiative.
• communicate well, respond to text messages promptly; communicates concerns and needs.
