Medical Device Reprocessing Technician - Hybrid Shift (Days/Evenings, 4 Shifts)

Description

Location: Laval Operating Room
Schedule: 4 days/week (more may be required depending on needs)
Shift: Day (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)/Evening (2 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
Salary: $26.00 to $32.50/hour

***Signing bonus to be discussed during the final interview

Your Role

Under the supervision of the URDM Manager, you will play a key role in the quality and safety of care provided to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure the collection, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of medical instruments

Reassemble trays according to established procedures

Perform the reprocessing and disinfection of endoscopes

Perform the quality control tests required by the department

Maintain the integrity of equipment and work environments

Participate in the receiving and to the distribution of orders

Ensure the application of operating room policies and procedures

Collaborate closely with the operating room and clinic teams to ensure optimal quality of care

Participate in certain administrative tasks and the maintenance of the premises

Desired Profile

Requirements:

DEP or DEC in medical device reprocessing

Significant experience in endoscopy and orthopedics

Knowledge of sterilization standards and best practices

Personal Qualities :

Attentiveness, rigor, and organizational skills

Team spirit and reliability

Ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt to change

Attention to detail and commitment to quality
