Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Power Engineer to fill a position at the University Hospital of Northern BC.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Power Engineer 4 (PW4) operates, repairs and carries out preventative maintenance on the boilers, air conditioning units, emergency power and other related equipment of the facility. Performs mechanical maintenance, repairs, and replacement duties related to the physical plant, buildings, and equipment approaching various journeyman trades qualifications. Supervises other maintenance workers and designated staff as required. Manages contractors and projects as required.
