About Our Client :
Our client is seeking a professional Manager, Project Accounting a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and / or a background in accounting and tax in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Review timely and accurate financial records for various stakeholders
- Execute monthly accounting close procedures
- Oversee full cycle accounting process - posting payable entries, cheque issuance, and addressing vendor inquires
- Track monthly progress billing invoices for construction
- Organize financial statements for stakeholders
- Review budget updates and financial models monthly
- Perform daily transactions (wires, loans)
- Assist senior executives across all departments regarding financial analysis
- Manage cash flow
- Organize compliance filings (HST, Corporate Tax, etc)
Qualifications
CPA, CGA or CPA, CMA or actively enrolled in the CPA programPost-secondary education in Accounting or Business AdministrationA strong background of a minimum of 2 years in a similar role and / or in accounting and tax in a corporate environment (ideal)Detail oriented, punctual and highly organizedAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sage AccountingAbility to work flexible hours if required
