A Registered Practical Nurse is only required to work at one Home.

Position Summary

Monitor the provision of Elder care by the nursing team on an assigned unit, acting as the team leader. Assess the Elder’s needs in accordance with the RAI-MDS tool and provide a plan of care and interventions based on an evaluation of outcomes.

Duties And Responsibilities

Administration of Medications and Treatments :

• Administer and document medications and treatments for all Elders, and assess effectiveness
• Report Elder response to medication and treatments to physician / nurse practitioner
• Transcribe and process all orders received
