Reporting to the Mechanical Northern Operations Manager, you’ll set daily and weekly goals that align with the overall project schedule and plan, complete 1‑week and 6‑week look‑ahead schedules, and lead the Mechanical team on site to meet project targets.
You’ll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21 / 7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, and work 10‑hour shifts on average. Perks include well‑maintained crew housing, flights to and from site from the nearest airport, a Living Out Allowance, full benefits, and an RRSP program.
Your day‑to‑day includes connecting with the Mechanical Project Manager and Site Superintendent to align on key priorities, ensuring rough ins are done correctly and materials and equipment are properly installed, monitoring QA / QC and addressing quality concerns, and reviewing sub‑trade and supplier invoices for discrepancies to keep the financials in line with expectations.
