Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for contributing on multiple applications within project constraints, including scope and timing, to deliver excellent quality design work according to client specifications
• Work with Project Team Leaders to detail and meet planned build schedules, budgets, and material allowances
• Responsible for
• Prepare layouts, Drawings, Specifications and bills of material
• Utilize Solidworks design suite to manage or develop wiring schematics, wiring harness drawings and panel assemblies
• Ensure compliance to various regulations and standards across multiple regions and markets
• Select and / or design components for function, cost, reliability, ad manufacturability o Interact with suppliers and support purchasing process
• Interact with various other engineering groups and disciplines within the organization o Work closely with the shop during building of equipment
• Perform test procedures on various machinery including AC motor control and HVDC systems
• Work closely with controls / software engineers and communicate associated design implications and requirements involving electrical / electronic system design o Utilize multimeters / oscilloscopes, Controller Area Network (CAN) tools for design, assembly, and validation
