Position : Line Operator

Location : Concord, Ontario

Are you a Line Operator with a knack for Performing automated system-level testing?

If so, this could be the opportunity for you!

Contract : 1 year (possible extension or hire)

Day Shift Work hours are 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities : Perform automated system level testing (Pre-Test, Burn-In and Final Test) on network switching equipment to determine product functionality

  • Monitor any failures during test and report them to Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician
  • Report any test software or equipment issues or improvements to Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician
  • Mechanical / electrical assembly of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) into product case.
  • PCBA and metal work inspection as per inspection procedure
  • Final assembly and packaging of products.
  • Use fixtures and power / hand tools according to product specifications
  • Follow detailed process instructions and work towards meeting daily goals.
  • Prepare and kit picklists for the lines while assisting other peers with water spider and de-trashing activities
  • Constantly maintain a safe, clean and professional working environment by complying with procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work at different work stations or areas as needed on a rotational basis to reduce fatigue factor.
  • Contributes to team daily success and overall growth by freely sharing ideas.
