Position Overview

You’re an organized and driven professional whose an expert in leading the coordination of projects, monitoring and optimizing performance, and providing data quality assurance. As the BI Technical Team Lead, you’ll have a deep understanding of complex data structures and the ability to effectively design efficient solutions to lead a business intelligence (BI) team. In this role, you will :

• Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve SAP BW system performance, such as query tuning, indexing, or data partitioning.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports and dashboards to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions and monitor business performance effectively.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on utilizing and interpreting reports and dashboards effectively, empowering them to leverage the data for better decision-making.
• Continuously monitor and fine-tune optimized systems to maintain and further improve performance, ensuring efficient data processing and responsiveness.
• Expand the scope and depth of reports and dashboards, incorporating additional metrics, visualizations, and interactive features to provide more comprehensive insights.
• Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting data literacy and encouraging stakeholders to utilize and explore data through self-service analytical tools.

What it takes :

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
