Position Summary :
Custodians are responsible to perform cleaning duties to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the Public and employee spaces of our property.
Key Accountabilities :
- Cleans all areas of the property as assigned
- Services, cleans and supplies all restrooms
- Cleans and polishes furniture, fixtures and equipment
- Cleans windows and glass
- Steam cleans and shampoos carpets
- Assist with light snow removal at entrances
- Gathers and empties trash
- Responds to requests for cleaning services from management
- Manages other initiatives or duties as required
Education and Qualification Requirements
Grade 9 education or suitable combination of education and experienceGood communication skills; both written and verbalMinimum 6 months work experienceFirst Nations experience an assetOther languages an assetASIP. WHMIS and First Aid an assetCriminal Record Clearance mandatoryWork Environment Considerations
