SaskEnergy Digital, Technology and Security (DT&S) is comprised of several functional groups focused on project delivery, enterprise architecture, information management, application, and infrastructure management.
The DT&S department consists of approximately 72 multi-vendor contractors and 106 employees.
The Enterprise Networks, Infrastructure & SCADA team actively work with the OT / IT Operations along with teams that represent Enterprise Security, Business Applications, Solutions and Architecture and Project Delivery.
Our project management and execution approach combine the best practices of the PMBoK and RUP methodologies and is currently exploring extending the use of other delivery methodologies such as Agile.
The Enterprise Networks, Infrastructure & SCADA team consist of approximately 54 SaskEnergy staff and multi-vendor contractors who provide support, maintenance, and patching within and for SaskEnergy’s DT&S.
SaskEnergy is looking for an established senior level project manager (PM) resource to assume the leadership of a portfolio of projects for a one-year term in Enterprise Networks, Infrastructure & SCADA within DT&S group.
The PM resource is expected to use their experience and expertise to successfully lead and deliver projects following Enterprise Networks, Infrastructure & SCADA standards while ensuring that Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices are being applied and followed.
The PM resource will functionally report to the Director of Enterprise Networks, Infrastructure & SCADA and will ensure that project processes, procedures and policies meet Business Application standards and expectations.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. The resource is required on site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina.
The Project Manager resource responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
1. Project Communications and Status Reporting
2. Scope Management
3. Project resource management including internal resources and external vendors
4. Management of the overall Project Plan
5. Management of project costs and forecasting
6. Management of project risks and issues
7. Providing assistance and mentorship as required
8. Knowledge sharing with peers to ensure progressive realization of improvements within the project management practice at SaskEnergy
