Qualifications and Experience
Category 3 (Certified) : Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistant (EA), or equivalent as deemed by the Employer.
May be required to receive training in CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and / or other emergency techniques. Ability to work with differing abilities / diverse learning needs, strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, ability to work as team member, flexibility, high degree of sensitivity and diplomacy, good organizational skills, experience in use of computer technology and / or other communication supports as appropriate, ability to deal with potentially stressful and emergent situations.
Category 1 (Uncertified) : Secondary school diploma with entry level knowledge of Early Childhood Education (ECE) (EA) practices.
