Community Living Services Part Time Kamloops, BC $25.95 - $29.76 CAD per hour
Make a difference every day. As a Community Support Worker, you’ll help individuals with diverse abilities build independence, connect with their community, and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support daily life skills, recreation, and social connections
- Encourage health, well‑being, and personal growth
- Create and follow person‑centered support plans
- Connect clients to community resources and opportunities
- Assist with errands, meals, household tasks, and transportation
- Provide personal care with respect and dignity
- Extended health, dental, vision, paramedical services, life insurance, and EFAP after probation
- 3 weeks’ vacation after 1 year, increasing with seniority
- Regular wage increases based on hours worked (up to Step 4)

What You Bring

Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and safe driving recordOwn vehicle with business use and $5M third‑party liability insurance (premium reimbursement provided)Willingness and physical ability to support individuals with personal care and recreational activities, indoors and outdoorsCompletion of required training (provided at no cost); existing certifications are an asset : CPR‑C, Mandt‑R, SafeTALK, Safe Food Handling, Medication Management, CLBC Privacy, Abuse and Neglect Awareness training, Anti‑Bullying & HarassmentConsent to Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (cost reimbursed upon hire)Union membership (1.8% dues deducted from pay)PROGRAM : Community Inclusion and Skill Development
