Overview
The Office of Statistics and Information (OSI) is Alberta's statistical resource and the Statistical Focal Point for Statistics Canada. Our mandate is to plan, promote, consolidate and develop social and economic statistics relating to Alberta. The office publishes, investigates, and collaborates across the Government of Alberta on questions relating to social or economic conditions and issues. The Alberta Office of Statistics and Information is part of the Economic and Fiscal Planning Division of the Treasury Board and Finance. Location : Edmonton. Role : Data Solutions Analyst.
Reporting to the Manager, Data Services, the Data Solutions Analyst builds and maintains data pipelines, strengthens analytics infrastructure, and turns complex data into insights senior leaders can rely on. This role supports policies and programs that impact Albertans every day.

Qualifications
Requirement : A university degree in computer science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field plus a minimum 4 years of experience working with SQL (advanced SQL required; NoSQL is an asset).
