Position

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Position summary : Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible for interacting with customers through telephone, electronically or face to face; to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Performance of other related duties as required.

Supervision received : General supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and change-orders received from customers and Sales Representatives, set up sales orders, payers, and essential data in SAP for initial order.
• Take phone orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Perform dispatch duties and serve as back-up Dispatcher as required.
• Provide marketing support for samples, catalogs and information requests. Maintain marketing inventory.
• Work with Outside Sales Teams to coordinate customer requests and to help provide superior customer service.
• Participate in semi-annual inventory counts.
• All other office duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, sitting, talking / listening, reaching with hands and arms. Lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Regular attendance is required.

Work Environment

Office environment with moderate noise. Indoor and outdoor weather conditions.

Salary

Salary : $23.28 / hr.
