We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, motivated Senior Civil Engineer to lead engineering design, oversee project execution, and provide technical expertise across a variety of land development and municipal infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, advanced civil design capabilities, and a commitment to high-quality, efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
Prepare and review engineering designs, reports, calculations, and construction drawings (grading, servicing, stormwater management, road design, etc).
Coordinate with internal survey and drafting teams to develop accurate engineering deliverables.
Conduct site evaluations, feasibility analyses, and technical assessments.
Ensure compliance with municipal standards, provincial regulations, and industry best practices.
Provide mentorship with technical guidance to junior engineers and technologists.
Liaise with clients, municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Stamp and approve engineering documents as required.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree considered an asset.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing.
7-10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, preferably in land development or municipal infrastructure.
Proficiency with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, Storm / Sanitary analysis tools, and hydraulic modelling programs.
Strong understanding of local development processes, municipal standards, and permitting requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving abilities.
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary projects and teams.
