Job Posting Overview : Contract JOB! The Retail Brand Advocate supports and represents a well-known technology brand in retail locations. This associate effectively and efficiently merchandises product as well as communicates key initiatives and information to store managers and associates. Associates primary responsibility is to drive sales for our client through merchandising excellence. The Retail Brand Advocate reports directly to the District Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Correct in-store merchandising issues as needed (display / product placement / pricing). Plan and organize route efficiently; manage schedule independently ensuring scheduled visits are completed per expectations. Complete store visit reports, paperwork, and on-going training in a timely manner meeting all deadlines. Understand entertainment gift cards and their customers. Maintain working knowledge of all client products to be a subject matter expert. Build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store managers and associates to achieve the goals of our client. Work closely with store personnel to inspire them to be enthusiastic about the brand by : Speaking with persuasion and influence to improve in-store sales. Training store staff on product features. Merchandising and stocking gift cards on specified fixtures and planograms. Changing graphic signage on fixtures. Cleaning and maintaining dedicated fixtures. Addressing display and fixture challenges for store personnel. Accurately reporting in-store visit data. Correct in-store merchandising issues as needed (display / fixture / product placement / pricing) Following and executing planograms Complete required training and follow instructions thoroughly. Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with a keen sense of urgency. Complete store visit reports, documentation, and on-going training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines. Clear communication with manager, reporting any issues, concerns and needs as well as responding to all e-mail and voicemail the same day or within 24 hours. Manage route / schedule independently, ensuring territory (approx. 200 locations per month) visits are covered per expectations. Plan route efficiently; overnight travel is required in some territories (travel expenses are reimbursed) and may include air travel. Develop, implement, and maintain a business plan for the designated territory, driving measurable results for stores. Available to complete on-line and in-person training as needed. Be innovative and bring new ideas to the table. Be a team player who thinks quickly on your feet. Have the flexibility to meet change head-on without batting an eye. Be an action-oriented professional who has an eye for details and be a true self-starter. Qualifications : Retail merchandising experience (1+ years required); sales / relationship building, and negotiation experience also preferred. Ability to store and transport supplies and point of purchase materials needed to complete job responsibilities. Develop, implement, and maintain a business plan for the designated territory, driving measurable results for stores. Available to work full-time in stores. Typical schedule is normal business hours, 8am – 5pm, Monday - Friday; evening and weekend hours are rare. Seasonal, weekend and holiday hours may be required. High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record and current automobile liability insurance. Must be able to provide evidence of insurance and agree in writing to keep this insurance current throughout employment. Must reside in a centrally located area in the assigned territory. Personal credit card with available credit to book travel as needed; travel expenses are reimbursed. Will be paid door to door travel time and mileage reimbursement for personal car use. Recommend having access to a computer. Ability to : Stand and / or walk for up to 8 hours in a retail environment. Sit Reach with hands and arms. Read and write. Effectively communicate. Count and perform basic mathematical functions. Sort Organize Assemble things according to written instructions. Regular lifting of up to 25 lbs to move stock or displays to and from personal vehicles. Safety : Follow safety rules and regulations.
