A career as Product Manager – Investment Solutions (Private Investments) at National Bank Investments means acting as a catalyst for innovation in the development of alternative products. It is through your business acumen, your creativity, your investment experience and your knowledge of distribution channels and client needs that you have a positive impact by enabling clients to achieve their financial objectives.

Your job

Help define strategic orientations related to product development and management in order to achieve NBI's objectives, in line with the Bank's and internal partners' objectives

Lead major projects (product launches, portfolio manager changes, etc.) and collaborates to solve problems requiring high experience and expertise.

Generate ideas and identify opportunities for NBI in various markets (e.g., full-service brokers, private banking...)

Be an expert on the development of new pooled funds structures in order to adapt processes, the product offering and NBI's pricing

Lead the competitive and innovation oversight for NBI, both in Canada and abroad, to identify key competitors, innovative concepts and best practices in product management

I nfluence strategic orientations in product development and management to achieve NBI’s objectives

Ensure NBI’s profitability and competitiveness by developing and managing complex product lines

Define, review and monitor investment policies and collaborate with internal partners (e.g., compliance) and external asset managers.

Participate in asset allocation decision-making and risk management of available investment strategies to optimally measure, identify, monitor and diversify current and potential risks.

Act as a coach with analysts and product officers on the team

Basic requirements

A bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience or a master's degree and eight years of relevant experience

CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) : completed or in progress

Varied experience in the investment industry

Excellent knowledge of Excel

Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), essential

Languages :
